Unrepentant, Soul Calabash Acts

After being beaten up, the Tongue Devil finally confessed the fate of the girl.

"After she killed me, she turned herself in."

During the interrogation, she explained her motive for the crime and revealed all the ridicule and grievances she had suffered over the years. She never expected that she would end up in prison when she finally cleared her name.

Finally, people knew that she had been falsely accused all those years ago, but no one came forward to apologize. Instead, she was once again branded as a murderer.

Even her former husband only expressed regret but was also grateful that he had not stayed with a potential killer.

In the small county town, some people lamented, while others wondered if it was possible that someone who had pretended to be innocent for so many years could actually be guilty.

Some even said that a woman who killed someone as a joke, even if she was innocent, could not be married.

These were all rumors that the Tongue Devil heard while trying to find the girl after becoming an evil ghost.

"In the end, she committed suicide in prison." The Tongue Devil spoke with both hatred for not being able to take revenge personally and a hint of "she deserved it."

The Womanizer cursed and fiercely said, "You caused someone's death! She didn't do anything to provoke you, but because of your joke, she ended up like that. And you don't feel any remorse?"

The Tongue Devil denied it. How could it be his fault?

"I was wrong to make that joke in the first place, but later, I admitted my mistake and was arrested!"

"She went outside and was ridiculed by others. It had nothing to do with me! She had been working outside for two years, and I never said a word during those two years. How could it still be my fault?"

It must have been someone else who made fun of her, and she couldn't take it anymore and took her anger out on him.

Wasn't he even more wronged?

Until now, the Tongue Devil still didn't think it was his fault.

He felt that even if he had hurt that girl in the past, it was not him who drove her to kill him. She was wrong to kill him!

Susie was very angry, really angry.

Although it seemed like it was just a "joke", she couldn't forgive it.

Susie raised Soul Calabash.

"I'll let Calabash eat you up!"

Feeling the terrifying devouring power, the Mouth Ghost panicked.

He suddenly realized that the Womanizer Ghost and the Unlucky Ghost were probably caught by Susie just like him. But they were not destroyed, they were still able to stay.

Just now, he looked down on the few evil ghosts who worked for Susie, but now he couldn't wait to become one of them. He begged and screamed for mercy, "Missy, please spare me! Let me go! I'll do anything for you! Please don't..."

Before he could finish his sentence, he was absorbed by Soul Calabash.

Mitch looked at Susie, who was feeling annoyed, and helplessly rubbed her small head. He didn't know how much she could handle, or if she could come to terms with it. The world is full of all kinds of people, some of them are unforgivable. It's a long road for her to experience all of them.

"Expert Patriarch, why did he do that? He clearly killed someone, but he doesn't think he did anything wrong." Susie stared at Soul Calabash, still very angry.

Why would someone who "jokes" like that think that way?

Mitch explained, "Some people see others have good things, but they don't have any, so they always want to take advantage of them."

The Mouth Ghost might have seen that someone had a beautiful wife, such a pretty girl, and he had to defile her with his words, just to satisfy himself, as if he had really gained an advantage.

"Saying it's a joke is just an excuse to cover up their own nasty thoughts. Some people have a bad heart, so they have a bad mouth."

Mitch held Susie's hand and walked slowly forward.

He will accompany her on this long road. Perhaps when she no longer needs him, his mission will be completed.

Sometimes I hope she'll become stronger quickly, and other times I'm reluctant to let her go, hoping she'll grow up slowly.

When Susie saw Ryan, she looked unhappy for some reason, her little face still puffed up.

Ryan guessed that she had finished something and picked her up. When Susie was brought back to the Huang family, she was still sulking.

The banquet was already set up, only three or four tables, all relatives.

Ryan and Susie naturally sat at the main table.

Ruby asked Susie, who had a puffy face, "What's wrong, little baby? Why are you angry?"

Ryan forced a smile and said, "It's okay, just playing with a cat outside just now, but it ran away..."

Maxwell quickly said, "Oh, if you like cats, Grandpa will get you one from the village!" Ryan said, "No need, no need!"

Susie was still angry, then she saw Ruby handing her a chicken leg. The baby was angry and bit the chicken leg.

Then Jay came in, covering his mouth and grinning.

Susie stared at him.

Jay met Susie's gaze, shook in fear, and the smile on his face disappeared. He awkwardly sat down at another table, feeling indignant in his heart.

What's wrong with him? She even knocked out one of his front teeth, and he didn't get angry.

Some relatives saw Jay always covering his mouth and asked, "Jay, what's wrong? Did you lose a tooth?"

Jay put down his hand and muttered, "I fell while wrestling outside just now and knocked it out."

Suddenly, a group of people clapped and laughed, "Serves you right, you don't have a door in your mouth, you get what you deserve!" Jay didn't dare to say anything.

Susie was too fierce, and Dr. Xavier's family was so wealthy that he was really afraid of being retaliated against.

After eating for about half an hour, Ryan saw that Susie had eaten enough and made an excuse to return to the hospital, taking Susie with him.

Susie suddenly remembered something and quickly reached into her bag, taking out a red envelope.

Grandma Chloe had prepared it for her before leaving, and her little uncle had added some more to it. "Grandpa Jack, I wish you a speedy recovery soon..."

Susie suddenly stopped speaking and looked at Maxwell's face, looking confused. She looked towards Mitch for help.

Mitch just glanced up and said lightly, "Give it to him."

Susie handed the red envelope to Maxwell, but couldn't help reminding him, "Grandpa Jack, take care of your health in the future. Don't drink any alcohol, not even a sip!"

Maxwell quickly stood up and kept declining, "No need, no need. Oh, just come over for a meal..."

Ryan said in a warm tone, "Take it and take care of your health."

The two left under the strong insistence of Huang's family and Jay breathed a sigh of relief. As Susie left, he relaxed and turned to look at the red envelope in Maxwell's hand.

It's so thick...

It's the kind of folded red envelope that can be pulled out into a long strip when unfolded. It's at least worth several thousand dollars...

"Tsk, this red envelope must be worth several thousand dollars, right? Rich people are really stingy. They drive a million-dollar luxury car and only give a few thousand-dollar red envelope. I think he should give a bundle, at least ten thousand dollars to be decent!"
